Timber beams and inglenook fireplaces are just a few of the original features that are part of the character of the Plough. We are a very small village pub that has the benefit of accommodation,we are family run with all the quintessential aspects of village life. We welcome everyone, no matter what, who or where you come from. We endeavour to keep noise to a minimum at weekends but on the odd occasion some people who have enjoyed themselves a little too much can be a little loud!! Our food is traditional pub food and our beer is second to none, especially real ales where we use local breweries wherever possible.. If you are looking for a stay with the added attraction of a pub then you won't be disappointed, the location is idyllic, nestling about 5 minutes walk from the river Thames, our locals are friendly, the food is all home made by our chef Dom and if nothing else you will leave well fed and we hope you take home with you a pleasant experience. Paul and Rachel along with the rest of the family hope you come and say hello, even if it's just over night. We are very animal friendly establishment and our aim is to provide good value for money, from the price of the rooms to the food we serve.Please note check-in is between 12.00 & 2.00pm & 6.00pm & 10.00pm. From september the 1st we will be open from 11.00am for morning coffee. Unfortunately due to rising costs the price of rooms have been reduced but it is for room only and we have no facilities for breakfast, .Check out is 10.00am We try and accommodate everyones needs, however we are not always perfect and can get things wrong sometimes. If you have a problem please don't hesitate to talk to us so we can resolve things immediately. Our food is available tuesdays - sundays, please note we do not have food available mondays or Sunday evenings, although about 5 minutes walk from The Plough there is a restaurant serving 7 days a week and about a quarter of a mile away there is a large Cafe which do the full traditional english breakfast
