The staff were friendly and the room very comfortable. The situation was perfect in the centre of the city and amazingly quiet. The only problem was when paying breakfast had been automatically added to the bill even though we did not partake. Highly recommended

Friendly reception staff - helpful and attentive.
Room decor aging a bit but the free minibar and drinks tokens for Waxy oconnors next door - nice touch.
The hotel really lets itself down on the Breakfast food and service. Had to wait 10 mins on tea and coffee and the replenishment of food items.
Would definitely stay again - and eat breakfast elsewhere!!

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Restaurant food was great as were the staff. The executive lounge was fabulous and the perfect place to wind down after a busy day at the shops. Will most definately use this hotel again and would thoroughly recommend it.

had to ask every day, twice each day, before the much hyped mini bar was stocked.
Room was only serviced for a single,ie only one set of towels, one dressing gown , tea/coffee facilities for one only although we booked and checked in as a double. Took several requests for this to be sorted and then only partially. Staff charming and apologetic but ineffectual at dealing with the problems.

Breakfast not to 4* standard, food in restaurant fair quality, but expensive for the meal (there were only 3 prawns in the starter which were cut lengthways)

I love this hotel. We were upgraded and had compiimentary use of the executive lounge which is a very relaxing place to have a pre-dinner drink after a hard days shopping/work. It's great value if booked through late rooms when the price is right, otherwise a bit pricey. The location is excellent, rooms comfy not to mention the free mini-bar!

Great central location with easy access to bars, restaurants and shopping (if you like shopping). Room was fine with free mini bar and all the usual facilities. Bathroom was up to date and clean. The hotel also has an exec lounge with free drinks including spirits. Breakfast is on the top floor with a nice view, good choice of food and with good service. Only downside is parking but it is central Glasgow (however you can park nearby for £11 overnight.) Also the price does account for the free drink I'm sure. Nevertheless, I wouldnt stop anywahere else in Glasgow now I have found this one.

Hotel was great and very central if arriving by train and for the shopaholics out there. Executive lounge was rather dissappointing, coffee from machine was bad and cups, sugar, spoons etc needed restocked at 1pm in the afternoon.
Room was a good size and had all mod cons that you need for a one night stop over. Breakfast was great! Lovely restuarant, although spoilt by a whinging guest at next table, same whinging guest we encountered at reception when checking in. All in all a great hotel for what you need in glasgow, would defintely use again.

Great location. Lovely furnished room with enough space. Breakfast was a bit of a let down. We had breakfast at 8 am and it already looked very tired. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Could not really fault the hotel and/or service / food received - mini bar was a bit of surprise (free) and can only assume that it was included in the rate, would definately stay there again as it is very convenient for shopping in city centre, we did not have a car so unfamiliar with parking arrangements?

This hotel was very welcoming, the cheery splashes of tartan let you know you were in Scotland. Excellent service at the restaurant both breakfast and dinner. Not a vast menu for dinner, but very nice.Good touch the free mini bar! Very central location.A very pleasant stay.
