These apartments at 151 Tower Bridge Road in Southwark are new, clean and modern. We paid £99 per night via LateRooms, we booked a studio apartment to sleep 2 for 2 nights. The walk from London Bridge tube station was at least 15-20 mins (certainly more than the 10 mins advertised). I would advise you to take a taxi from the station if you have baggage (costs around £5). We had to arrive at the company offices around the corner, which were difficult to find initially, in order to pick up the keys. The view from our 8th floor apartment was fantastic, we could see on the skyline: the London Eye, St Pauls, Post Office Tower and the Gherkin. There was very little information available about the facilities in the room up front. We knew it had a small kitchen, yet there was only one pan and no microwave. The room had a washer, dryer and ironing facilties but no hairdryer!! There is a great cafe for English breakfast just up Tower Bridge Road called the Cat and the Cucumber (closed Sun). Great restaurants and shops on the waterfront between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, plus the Thames river boat stops nearby.
