The room, service and location was just right for the price - and staff professionalism and helpfulness was first class. Restaurant had very good food in an interesting setting; a longer wine list (especially by the glass) would be nice but I'm nitpicking now.

This would be now my 2nd stay here and the hotel is great for its location, quality, and value for money etc. My only comment would be is that it would had been great to get more than the normal 5 TV channels, plus my breakfast in my room had missing items for which I had no time to request. Breakfast in the restaurant area is better from my first stay.

The hotel was beautiful. We arrived early evening and the lighting outside made the building look lovely. It appears that we booked the last room as it was the smallest with no windows unfortunately. It was quite small but very nice indeed. Receptionist was welcoming on arrival and very pleasant on departure. There was a problem with the hot water in the hotel and we had to wait in over an hour until it was fixed. This almost spoiled our plans and only found out when I trekked to reception to find out if there was a knack to turning the hot water on. It would have been nice to be told on arrival. Breakfast was nice. Not much choice continental wise, but the danish pastries were divine and black pudding on the full English really cheered us up! All in all would stay again but only if we could get the late rooms deal.

The hotel is ideally located right in the city centre and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and airy. Also, the staff has been very helpful throughout.

The Owner Hotel is in a perfect location in Hull City Centre. It's approximately 5 minutes walk from the Interchange and the new shopping centre. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and our hotel room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We received a warm welcome on a very chilly evening. A supplimentary fan heater had already been placed in our room to make sure the room was comfortably warm (-2C outside). Room decor was modern and exactly as advertised. The spar bath was fun but do not add too much bubble bath !!!!. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant (call buttons on the table were not used as the staff were attentive) though the room was a little clinical (marble floors rather than carpet)

Very good throughout. Parking here is a major issue. My room was located near the bar - the barman/cleaner was vacuming at around 2.30am which was inappropriate

Great room although a little on the small side for an executive room. Very spacious bathroom. Nice TV and docking station for iPod.

The room was very small - nowhere to put anything. The coffee maker didn't work - just leaked out onto the table. The bathroom absolutely stank of strong disinfectant, reminded me of Lysol. The power shower should be renamed the 'powerless' shower - it was so pathetic. The service at breakfast was very slow, it took 25 minutes to get some toast, which was all we wanted, apart from the coffee which arrived relatively quickly, but was watery and of poor quality. Definitely not recommended.

I thought the hotel was great and from a price perspective it was value for money. All the staff from Reception, to the lady at breakfast time were both helpful, and polite as well as nice to chat to.

Really nice hotel, decor was stunning. Although we were late arriving the porter was very helpful and even rustled up some sandwiches for us.

Really lovely place to stay - modern, clean, lots of little luxuries like Molton Brown toiletries, great towels, choice of pillows. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to any visitors to Hull.

The hotel was excellent, we arrived late so parked on the road> I mentioned it to one of the guys who said that we would be OK until 9ish. We arrived aback at the car to find a 50 pound parking ticket.....oh, well.
The hotel was a great little find and I plan to visit Hull every month on business and I shall certainly try and get a suitable rate at the Owner Hotel before I look elesewhere.
