Fantastic accommodation. Useful to do some research on car parking before arriving. All the mod cons were in room and M&S nearby for shopping for supplies. I would certainly stay here again but shower room may need a refresh in about 6 months as paint is beginning to peel and shower guard is inadequate and water does spill out. But this is not a real problem as there are fluffy towels and robes and all the facilities one could need. This is the best hotel apartment I have stayed in in the UK and the views over Birmingham make for a very romantic setting.

Accomodation was incredible. I would definitely recommend it to the young free and single and couples. It's idealy situated in the centre of B'ham and the panaramic views from the lounge and bedrooms was amazing. Our son of one year loved the night view and people watched the shoppers below. The rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable - nice, solid mattresses. We had the option of a cot but we declined and our son slept with us. The levels of the dining table and coffee table were not the best for him but we coped. Because there is a kitchen we were able to store his milk and meals so it was very handy having an apartment rather than a hotel room.
Only downside of the stay was the reception staff - not very friendly.
The apartment is a costly option for a weekend break but if sharing with friends then it works out quite well.

Really comfortable, clean bright and new. The concierge extremely helpful and accomodating. You just have to love looking at the view of Birmingham from 19 floors up (shame if you suffer from vertigo!) The freshly squeezed orange juice, espresso coffee, plush bathrobes... anything you could need really, AND knowing you can put all your dirty cups and plates in a dishwasher - absolutley great!
would definintely visit again.

Staying Cool lives up to its name. The decor is modern and funky, and the location about 100 yards from New Street Station is really convenient. I was on the 19th floor and the views over Birmingham at night are spectacular and worth the room price alone. Just one quibble that didn't bother me, but might bother others. There is an huge floor to ceiling window that slides open. Obviously there is a waist height panel to stop you plummeting 19 floors, but if I was bringing kids I wouldn't be comfortable with this - especially as there didn't appear to be a lock on the window handle. Minor quibble though, as it won't bother adult guests and otherwise the place is excellent.

Quality of food has been scored on the provisions supplied ie fresh oranges, good supply of peppermint tea, tea, coffee and organic milk. Also other quality extras, plus good option to get food ordered in if required.
Overall these apartments are fantastic and very handy for the city centre and train station. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Self contained studio apartment on 19th Floor of The Rotunda next to the Bullring - what a view! If your vertigo is bad, this isn't the room for you. Great amenties in the apartment including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, fridge etc. Fully functioning kitchen with all the utensils you could need and all very clean. The only downside to the apartment was the overhead kitchen cupboards being a bit too high to reach into so if you are 5' 6" and under you'll need to use a chair to stand on.
Central location for trains, buses, taxis and shops, eating out or doing your own shopping. Now thinking of reasons to go back to Birmingham so that I can stay again!

WiFI internet access did not work at all, both nights. That was a disappointment.

Fantastically well situated for a city break, right in the centre of the shopping district. It really has the wow factor with ultra cool decor and awesome views. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the fittings and furnishings were top notch. Very cool indeed

Excellent - Right next to New Street Station. Bring your own champers, eggs and bread and cook your own breakfast. Great location for shopping and leisure. Your can walk to the NIA with great restaurants (Thai Edge was brillant) and bars in its vicinity. Better than staying in a chain type hotel. No room service but everything you need is nearby.

Excellent location, stunning view of the area, but a tad expensive when you add 16 pounds parking per night to the cost of the stay. Be prepared to tote your luggage through a shopping mall to get to the hotel. Not easy to find the parking garage either.

Only drawback at 19 floors up was lack of blackouts on superb picture windows. This meant the room was bright all night (this city never sleeps but I wanted to!). Decor great and mini apartment plenty big enough for one but you need a bigger one for two people. Shame too that they can't/don't make recommendations on a takeaway service. This isn't a part of town one particularly wants to wander around after dark as a single female so knowing you can call in a take-out would be good. Very well placed 5 mins from station and by all the best shopping. Great for work and a weekend getaway.

This was a very stylish and conmfortable appartment with stunning views of the city. It is in a very central location next to the Bullring. It is a godsend to have an Apple computer and free internet in the room and a relief not to be ripped off for internet provision like you are in most hotels.
I would stay here again, although the price could be a little cheaper to encourage me to do so more often.

First night in penthouse where the room was excellent but large bedroom patio window had been left open. It was impossible to close. When we tried to call for assistance we found day/evening staff had gone home but night security officer failed to arrive. Had to sleep all night with open patio window - curtains reduced the draught & it did not rain. Not impressed with lack of security late in the evening at main entrance. We were told in morning that windows are known problem and are scheduled to be replaced. Also told that Security Officer did arrive but very late. Good customer service from day staff.
