The room was basic but comfortable, clean and easy enough to get to.
I arrived much later than planned. Not a problem here.Very polite staff on duty at Reception, nothing was too much trouble.Room was very clean with everything you may need.Excellent location with fantastic shuttle bus service into City centre.Campus has all usual facilities, Bars, Restaurants, Shop, Sports Centre. Free Wifi Hotspots.Excellent value for money...
good value for the money, (note did'nt have food so cant rate it)rooms have radiator you can adjust yourself which provides plent of heat in october.if you have correct cable laptop can be connected to internet for free
The rooms were clean with a reasonable en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, and the TV was good. I have two misgivings about this accommodation. The first was that there was no breakfast on offer and the second was that I was woken at 4 am by the fire alarm - apparently set off as a prank by one of the students - and I had to go outside in nightclothes in the middle of the night. The University can not plan for that sort of thing but I did find the fact that no roll call was taken a little disconcerting.
The reception is quite a long way from the entrance to the campus but is well sign posted. Despite being given a map, directions to the accommodation were confusing. The car park (C) was unlit, with trip hazards present so beware. The accommodation itself was very good. Clean, well provisioned, and surprisingly quiet. Yes, I would stay here again, and I would reccommend it if you wanted to try something different.
It's near Airport, better to take a taxi from airport to Heriot-Watt (about 15$)It's take 20-30 minute to get to center of Edinburgh But problem no shops near University (if your cigarettes end, you can buy it only if you take a bus and get to city )Very beautiful and big territoryIt's really good place to stay in Edinburgh!
The accommadation was acceptable..no radio or tv in room!!Transport very good, food well presentedgood value for moneygrounds very nice
Just like being at University again. You get what you pay for.
For the price and free internet you cant getter better!
The university is about five miles from the centre of Edinburgh but very easy to reach from the city bypass and situated right next to the very good park and ride service to the city. The rooms are student accommodation, so quite basic, but if you just want somewhere to lay your head, they're fine. The choice of food for breakfast in the student refectory is excellant, catering to all tastes at very reasonable prices. The reception staff were very helpfull and I'm looking forward to staying there again later on in the year. Now if they could just do something about that Scottish weather...
